Danica Campsite is only a few hundred metres away from the centre of Bohinjska Bistrica village and only a few kilometers away from Bohinj Lake. The location of the campsite is idyllic, because it is remote from the centre of events, but still quite close, so that guests can enjoy in peace as well as in excitement. Danica Campsite at the same time combines the experience of nature and the convenience of vicinity (shops, bars, restaurants, health clinic, aquapark, info centre etc.).
There are not many campsites that are so wonderfully integrated in a peaceful and unspoiled natural background as Danica Campsite. On the brinks of Triglav National Park and with a view of Triglav and the Bohinj mountains, this green oasis along the Sava Bohinjka River is only a glance away from Bohinjska Bistrica, enabling you to spend your vacation completely carless. Or you can even rent a bike for exploring the surrounding area and other places in Bohinj. The cycling path, which is in the vicinity of the camp, leads you through the lower valley all the way to Lake Bohinj. Camp Danica is open all year round.
