About Hotel.si

The online reservation portal Hotel.si offers an automated online reservation process for accommodation providers in Slovenia since 2005 and is one of the first Slovenian tourist portals operating in this field.

On Hotel.si, various property owners can advertise or offer accommodation for direct booking, meaning the user can either:

inquire by submitting a request to the selected property via the hotel.si system

or

make a direct reservation with instant confirmation. Direct reservations are made in real-time through an advanced two way interface with the property’s hotel management system.

Definitions

In these general terms and conditions, we use the following terms:

• general conditions: these general terms & conditions for the use of the hotel.si web portal;
• website: hotel.si, accessible via the web domain hotel.si , The "website" hereinafter refers to all webpages, applications, tools, platforms and other devices within the web domain www.hotel.si;
• operator: website operator, company MAIS d.d., Leskoškova cesta 10, 1000 Ljubljana;
• user: visitor of hotel.si, who sends reservation inquiry to the property, including visitors of the hotel.si who make a direct reservation of the accommodation using the hotel.si web booking engine,
• accommodation or property: hotel, pension, apartment, glamping, camp;
• accommodation provider: a user of hotel.si website that advertises accommodation on hotel.si portal or offers accommodation for direct booking;
• presentation of the accommodation provider: a general description of the accommodation provider including with information on accommodation;
• accommodation offer: presentation of the accommodation provider with all its elements, including information on accommodation, service prices and availability with the possibility of direct booking;
• direct reservation: The user makes a reservation in real time, for which he or she receives immediate confirmation.
• registration: by registering on www.hotel.si user creates a user account. Upon registration on the web portal, each visitor obtains a username and a password.

Content and use of website

User acknowledges and voluntarily and expressly accepts that the use of the Web Portal is made under his/her sole and exclusive responsibility at all times.

All content and material published on hotel.si is available for users to easily review diverse accommodation offer in Slovenia in one place.

All available information on accommodation is based solely on information accommodation providers provide and edit themselves through hotel.si platform (descriptions, prices, general conditions for cancellation, ...).

The operator of the hotel.si portal does not respond or support reservations by phone, fax or e-mail. All the necessary tools and information to make a reservation or reservation inquiry are available exclusively on the portal and through hotel.si platform.

The user of the website agrees that by inquiring or making a reservation through hotel.si, he or she inquires or reserves the services that are offered by the selected accommodation provider and not by hotel.si.

Hotel.si acts as an intermediary between the users of the website and the accommodation providers and is in no case a party of contractual relationship that by completing the reservation arises between the user of the website hotel.si and the accommodation provider.

The user can -depending on the settings of the individual accommodation - make a reservation via the hotel.si reservation system directly with immediate confirmation or via request to which the accommodation provider is obliged to respond.

To properties using inquiry option Hotel.si only transfers information about reservation inquiry.

By submiting immediate reservation through the hotel.si website, the user of the website enters into a direct contractual relationship with the accommodation provider with whom he/she made the reservation, in accordance with the rules and conditions of Hotel.si and in accordance with the valid offer of the accommodation provider. The booking confirmation is systematically generated and sent on behalf of the accommodation provider.

Terms of reservation and cancellation of reservations

Each reservation is made directly with the selected property. Please note that all reservations and services of the accommodation provider are subject to the general conditions of the selected property.

The booking conditions are available on hotel.si website for each property individually: on the property individual presentation page along with all necessary information about the property booking, on the property hotel.si booking engine and in the e-mail in the booking confirmation letter.

Hotel.si does not charge the user any booking or cancellation fees. All payments, cancellations or any complaints are directly considered and handled by the selected accommodation provider.

If you want to change or cancel your reservation, please contact the accommodation provider directly, You have received the contact details of the accommodation provider by e-mail in the confirmation letter

Payments

In case selected property requests a prepayment or deposit payment, hotel.si offers various payment systems, from which the user can choose from. Secure authorizations and credit card transactions take place via selected payment systems (Valu, Saferpay SIX Payments, Paypal). In case selected accommodation provider requests a reservation guarantee, your credit card details will be requested and transferred to the provider only for this purpose and in accordance with standard security protocols. Hotel.si does not store information or details about your credit card. In case of your non-arrival or late cancellation and in accordance with the conditions of accommodation, your credit card is not charged by hotel.si, but by the accommodation provider.

Please check carefully all the details regarding the booking and booking terms and conditions of the selected accommodation before completing the reservation.

Data privacy or consent to the use of personal data

By using this website, you give your selected accomodation provider consent to process your personal data, which you specify in the reservation inquiry form or which you provide through the hotel.si reservation system for the purposes of your inquiry or direct reservations. Hotel.si will process your personal data as a processor, and the processing is specified in more detail in the privacy policy of the selected accommodation provider. Please check selected accommodation provider privacy policy before you submit reservation inquiry or make a direct reservation.

For more efficient use of services on the portal, you can log in to hotel.si or create your user account. If you log in to hotel.si, you agree that the manager of hotel.si processes your personal data in accordance with the privacy policy.

All software, design and content solutions, applications, the domain www.hotel.si and all its subdomains, are all material and moral rights in individual works and in their entirety, which originate from the author's work or may be the subject of industrial property, are protected and exclusively owned by the operator, unless otherwise stated.

All materials (content of web pages, documents, logos, texts, images,…) on the web are the property of the operator or for which the authors have obtained the appropriate rights to use them. The materials are copyrighted, so their use outside the website is NOT allowed, or is allowed only with the consent of the operator or their authors.

It is forbidden to sell, reproduce, modify, distribute or in any other way use any part or the whole of the website www.hotel.si without the written permission of the portal www.hotel.si operator.

Hotel.si operators act diligently and conscientiously in providing services however we do not check or guarantee that the descriptions and all information provided and edited by the accommodation providers or their partners on their behalf are accurate, correct and complete. We are not responsible for the accuracy of information on individual property. Any possible complaints regarding property information or misleading data must be addressed to the accommodation providers.

Hotel.si is not the organizer or seller of tourist arrangements and is not responsible for the execution of ordered and paid services. The operator does not enter into contracts on behalf of accommodation providers.

The responsibility for the correct execution of the ordered services lies exclusively with the accommodation providers, whose names and contact details are unambiguously stated on hotel.si pages and in the booking confirmation, which the user automatically receives by e-mail.

The operator reserves the right to refuse to perform the services (cancel and delete the user's account, remove or change the content) if it deems that the user's conduct constitutes economic damage, violation of applicable law or is detrimental to the interests of hotel.si. Any malicious use of this portal will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

By using the hotel.si website, the user confirms that he is familiar with the terms of use and privacy rules of the hotel.si website. By completing a reservation or sending an inquiry, the user expressly agrees to have read, understood and accepted these rules, including the Privacy Statement.
